The pier at fort foster and the shadow it casts at different times of days gives endless opportunities for magic imagery. Here we look into the Piscataqua river in an afternoon summer. Tropical blue underpaintings with shades of violet yellow and magenta set a scene with movement of light, water and air. The divergent color set shouldn’t work but somehow it does, which is something I love when it happens.
