Black Eyed Susans

$2,500.00

You may or may not pick up that feeling of “ethereal” from this particular piece. Personally this is one of my favorites of my own work.

These are black eyed susans in the snow. In the winter 2026. Alongside the headwaters of the Ammonoosuc river. I’ve grown to enjoy painting flowers. These are dead flowers, yet they reach to the sky creating beautiful contrast in such an odd yet natural display. Black eyed susans age beautifully as they wither into the fall and form balloon like shapes in the winter. So much from so little.

Painted January 2026. Underpainting is violet pink fade.

This particular painting is 30Wx40H 2” thick canvas. Comes with copper metallic floating frame.
